Take a botanical tour with the NHMLA Nature Gardens staff, enjoy a marionette show, learn a new craft (I still have the gourd vessel I made 2 years ago!), or just chill-out on the lawn listening to the DJ. If you want to participate in a craft class, make sure you find the craft station and pick up a timed ticket as soon as you arrive. If you don’t have a ticket you won’t be able to attend the class. Avoid expensive downtown parking fees by taking LA Metro, the Expo line stops right in from of the museum.
